The Medical Phone has released its new smart phone called the iCEphone which is actually meant for the military people. In fact it is helpful for both the consumer and medical markets. However this phone is somewhat flexible than other mobile phones for these users.
This iCEphone is surely a special phone as it comes along with three panels in its amazing design - the first panel is the screen, second one is a full QWERTY typing pad and the third is a game pad with multiple triggers. It is hyped as “the Swiss Army Knife of Handsets” which means that the smartphone has an ice-button below the typing pad that notifies emergency services. What’s more it enables users to access the satnav GPS and even obtain complete digital medical records along with identification and other data.
The iCEphone is powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional with featuring a 3-inch touchscreen, 3.1 megapixel, dual SIM support, 128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, media player, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, Push to Talk, USB v2.0 and 3G connectivity.
Confirming the military standards, the iCEphone comes with a robust case that promises to withstand drops of up to 1.2 meters, water and snow. The iCEphone is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2009 with a price label of $1,000.
