Finally, Asus’ chairman Jonney
Shih has confirmed the existence of the Asus Eee phone, and this comes in a
recent interview of him with the New York Times.
In fact, Jonney Shih thinks that
any flat surface could become a display in the future – which means we can use televisions
to surf the Web, watch Internet content but that content will also be available
on displays built into walls and mirrors. Mobile phones like Asus Eee are a rarity indeed!
That would indeed be great for
most of us, isn’t it? The Eee Phone will be released in the first half of 2009.
