Wii Controller controls a Segway NXT Bot


Have you ever imagine of a Wii Controller being used other than for your Wii game?

Epokh has invented a new way of controlling a Segway kind of robot using a Wii Controller. He has developed a configuration with certain software that makes Wiimote control the NXT Bot.

Epokh used Lego NXT with OSEK firmware and certain platforms like Ubuntu, Python and Bluetooth.

The bot can be moved and accelerated by pusing the buttons of the Wiimote. You’ll learn this through his tutorial and be able to operate the NXT Bot with the Wii Controller instead of the gamepad.

Lets wait for something more interesting about the Wii Controller.
