URC has ushered out with some efficacious remotes in a day; it is the first universal remote control with touchscreen, that’s the latest and admirable MX-5000 remote. It has a 2.7-inch touchscreen which provides you a very satisfying sensation, when you press any of the onscreen buttons. The company has been apparently working on the technology for a few years and the result is the stunning remote.

It features with built-in WiFi, narrowband RF and IR to let you control just about anything you can throw at it, base station to accommodate various IR and RS-232 components and a built-in rechargeable battery and charging base. There is no word on its pricing yet, but the URC has informed that the MSRP will be under $1,500.
